A typical beer line cleaning procedure includes the following steps:
- Shut off the regulator on the CO2 tank and disconnect the tank from the kegerator
- Disconnect the beer line from the keg and put its end into a bucket
- Remove the faucet using a faucet wrench
- Mix the beer line cleaning solution with warm water in the beer line cleaning bottle that comes with any cleaning kit
- Connect the cleaning bottle with a hand pump to the faucet
- Run the cleaning solution through the system a few times using the hand pump
- Empty the bucket, fill up the bottle with clean water and repeat the procedure a few times to rinse the solution off the system
- Put everything back together
That’s it! Your home dispensing system is ready for the party.
