A 100L brink gives you more headroom than a 1/2 BBL unit, which matters once you're running enough batches that a smaller vessel keeps running out of space. It holds a full crop with room to spare, so you're not splitting a harvest across two smaller vessels or timing everything around a rush repitch. The 4" top port takes a full clean without needing to break down the fitting and the 1.5" spout on the side is where the actual transfer happens, straight into whatever tank is next in line.
304 stainless steel throughout means it fits into the same CIP schedule as the rest of the cellar without any special handling. Two cutouts in the top rim work as handholds for moving it around empty or lightly loaded. Every Tri-Clamp fitting needed to hook it up ships in the box, so there's nothing extra to source before it goes into service.
