Required BTU/hr = [(Faucets × 100) + (Trunk Length × BTU/ft) + Base Load] × Safety Factor
| Faucets × 100 — heat load per faucet | BTU/ft — from trunkline at dispense temp |
| Base Load — overhead (default 500 BTU/hr) | Safety Factor — 1.25× recommended |
