Food-grade propylene glycol in a 5-gallon size for brewery cooling and long-draw draft beer systems. This USP 99.9% propylene glycol is mixed with water to prepare coolant for compatible glycol chillers. The larger quantity is useful when filling a cooling system, replacing its coolant or stocking up for routine maintenance.
During brewing, the chilled solution circulates through tank jackets to help control fermentation temperatures and support cold crashing. In a long-draw draft system, it travels through separate glycol lines alongside the beer lines, helping keep beer cold between the keg cooler and the taps. The glycol solution remains separate from the beverage.
