how to choose the size of glycol chiller

Keep draft beer lines chilled between the walk-in cooler and the bar with the QuickPro 3200G glycol chiller. Available for purchase in the USA only, this 3,200 BTU/h glycol power pack supports long-draw runs up to 125 ft. Chilled glycol circulates through a separate cooling loop inside the insulated trunkline to help limit heat gain as beer travels to the taps.

A 3/8 hp compressor cools the 2-gallon reservoir and a vane pump driven by a 1/3 hp motor moves the glycol mixture through the system. The digital thermostat lets your installer adjust the glycol temperature to suit the setup. With a footprint of 16.4 by 16.2 inches, the unit fits bars, pubs and restaurants where equipment space is limited. Installation requires at least 12 inches of clearance around the entire unit and an ambient temperature of 60-90°F.

Plan your system with an insulated beer trunkline, a glycol-cooled draft beer tower and the appropriate draft beer parts. A run within 125 ft still needs to be checked against the number of beer lines, trunkline heat gain and installation conditions. Our glycol chiller sizing calculator provides an estimate of the cooling capacity your layout requires.
