This Dixell digital temperature controller replaces the factory thermostat in many commercial reach-in coolers, back bar coolers, and draft beer dispensing equipment. It reads two NTC temperature probes, one for the cabinet and one for the evaporator coil and switches the compressor on and off through a single relay output. The display reads out in either °C or °F.
It runs off-cycle defrost, so it's built for normal-temperature refrigeration rather than below-freezing setups that need electric or hot-gas defrost. Several different thermostats are used across kegerators, back bar coolers, and reach-in units, so compare it to your existing control before ordering.
