This swivel fitting has a 1/4" FFL (female flare) nut on one end and a 5/16" hose barb on the other. The FFL side threads onto standard beverage gas hardware, CO2 regulators, gas manifolds and Cornelius keg couplers, while the barb end takes 5/16" ID beverage-grade hose.
The nut swivels freely on the barbed stem, so you can tighten the flare connection without twisting the hose itself. As with the 1/4" FFL thread standard, the nut measures closer to 7/16" across the flats than a literal 1/4".
